It all started with the original Jeep Gladiator introduced in 1963 as a pickup based off of the Jeep Wagoneer. The Gladiator was built until 1971 when Jeep dropped the name and renamed them as the J2000 and J4000 models till 1973. Renamed again as the J10 and J20 models until 1988. Jeep also had the Comanche, a pickup variant of the Jeep Cherokee. Jeep built the small pickup from 1986 to 1992.  After the discontinuation Jeep Pickup lovers were either searching for rare Pickups or left to their own devices. Either way, it looks like it’s coming and we couldn’t be more excited. 2019 Jeep Wrangler PickupFiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne confirmed in early 2016 that Jeep would offer a production pickup version of the next-generation Wrangler. The only catch is it’s scheduled to be a 2019 model. The good news is we may see it as early as mid-2018! Both Wrangler models will be built at Jeep’s Toledo, Ohio plant, which is undergoing a $700 million upgrade. This major upgrade is to prepare for not only the next generation Wrangler but maybe even the new Pickup.Check out the Spy Shots Below!  2019 Jeep Wrangler pickup truck.
